INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) –There’s a new mobile app designed to enhance the Mass Ave Cultural Arts District experience, offering visitors an interactive digital map and a passport program to explore local businesses.
It allows users to access a digital map of more than 100 member businesses, including some lesser-known spots, and participate in a passport program that offers incentives like a drawing for an overnight stay at the Bottleworks Hotel.
“We launched a mobile app to support our cultural event of the year, Summerfest, Mass Ave Summerfest. And it was a great success,” said Meg Storrow, president of the Mass Ave Cultural Arts District.
The Mass Ave Cultural Arts District aims to create a vibrant downtown area that celebrates arts and culture. The district, a legal entity formed about four years ago, seeks to balance entertainment venues with residential and shopping spaces to ensure a lively community.
The app not only helps visitors navigate the district but also supports local businesses by making it easier for customers to find and connect with them. It includes direct links to business websites, contact information, and an interactive map. Future updates to the app will include documentation of public art within the district, enhancing the cultural experience for visitors.
Visit Apple’s App Store or the Google Play store to download the Mass Ave app.
